Then take it to work with you and arrange for the person to have it collected from your works reception. Unless your company or employer is an arse biscuit, or you work in a very secure environment it shouldn't pose to much of a problem.

I cpuld arrange to get it collected from work, the problem with that is lugging a pc case across london on the under ground in rush hour.

it's not that heavy just none to easy.

However, we've got a complete and working athlon xp system system waiting to be junked.
I've got permission to give it away if collection can be arranged.

granted it's already built but it really needs to be striped down to be cleaned/have all the dust blown off.

May just go for sticking it on a piece of wood until I can arrange for a case (seeing if everything works ok that is ).

FYI Ubuntu 8.04 needs a min of 256mb to install and Xubuntu half that.

I was planning on installing xubuntu, and I'll need a new graphics card (easily get an AGP 4x gfx card off ebay for a few quid if I want it to run decently lol.

Oh, there's one in Popular Grey as well .
