    CD/DVD Etching....where?!

I've been tasked (by the wife) with creating a DVD of our son to give to the grandparents for Christmas. I've nearly finished editing the movie, but have just realised that I need to have some sort of label on the DVD.

I've printed them myself in the past, and I've always been let down by the quality, so I'd sooner just buy some pre-printed.

Does anyone know where you can purchase blank DVDs with either a label on them, or some etched text on them? I would have thought photobox or snapfish would do it....but they dont.

Either that, or does anyone here fancy helping me out and making a few squid in the process?

    Thanks guys.

EDIT - I'm talking about the actual DVD label, not the sleeve.

You could get a lightscribe drive... or persuade someone with one to burn the disc for you. They burn an image into the top of the disk (only greyscale, it's hard to describe the effect).

Yeah I know what you mean. Cant really justify one for the sake of burning two discs though.

If you only have 1 drive at the moment then you can justify it by saying you can copy CD directly now...

The drives are only £20, but as Salazaar suggests maybe ask around if anyone has one already.
