Hi,
I have an ASUS P5N 32 SLI SE Deluxe motherboard and I am using the on board 5.1 audio, which I think is perfectly reasonable for my purposes. The trouble is that the one of the 3.5mm jacks on the back has gone a bit loose and despite trying countless configurations of using other jacks and setups, I've discovered that the one that has gone loose is pretty much integral (it's the green one). Does anyone have any ideas how to fix annoying jack looseness?
If not I think I'm going to have to get an internal soundcard, because at this rate the thing is pretty much unusable. So I'd be keen to see recommendations for a fairly basic sound card, the only requirement being that it should have a front panel audio headers so I can plug headphones into the front of my case. Ideally should also be cheap as chips. I mostly use sound on my computer for some light gaming, itunes, dvds, videos.
Cheers
