    Re: Building a gaming rig.

I'd go for the Akasa AK-965x3 over the old freezer 7 pro, slightly better and cheaper + the the PRM aspect of the freezer 7 pro has a habbit of dieing so the fan get stuck at full speed and it's very loud at full speed.

Or the new Arctic cooling Freezer Xtreme has had good reviews
    http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/161...ler/index.html
It's not too expensive (£26ish) and will do well if you move over to a quad core
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=921143

I'd say stick with the e5200 for now, with it you could go for that cheap ram, it probably will not overclock well but with the e5200 it wouldn't matter as you'll hit the limits of the cpu long before you even reach the stock speed of the ram.
I'd also consider getting just 2gb of better ram with the idea that you can add more later (also very few games are held back by only 2gb as long as you keep windows clean and don't run a metric-****-load of brackground carp, which is still true of any gameing pc)

I'd say the same with the graphics a 9800gt or 4830 would be fine with that 19" screen, when I was running my 9800gtx on a 17" (same resolution as a 19") nothing really made it do much work with everything truned up to max
e.g. in QW:ET I forced the screen sync off just to see how high it would go, it was haply giveing me 150fps but the screen tearing was so bad it was unplayble.
Some very new games may start to struggle on a 9800gt but only when running every thing at max, currently Crysis is the only major contender here and in that case the difference between a 9800gt and 9800gtx+ or 4850 is small (30ish vs 35ish)

If yuo're considering upgradeing screen size then the better cards may be an idea but if that's the case you'd probably be better off saveing up, all depends on you're "upgrade" time frame.

There's lots of areas where you can save if you're going to upgade later, I'd avoid anything too mid-range esp on expensive components.
i.e. no point on an e7300 if you plan to put a quad core in there in 6 months stick with the e5200
At the same time keep an eye on some areas where you can buy now and not need to upgrade for a long while.
Your PSU and case choise is a good example there, shouldn't need to replace that if you upgraded to a quad core and gtx280
