    NF7-S Bios update

I'm following the guide from the abit web site to update my bios version to 21, i did everything that it said and was all going fine till i booted from the floppy disc that i'd made into dos with only one step left type "runme" to execute the update. However i cannot type anything at all into the dos screen. Non of the keys respond and i end up having to reset my system without the update complete. I have a creative cordless keyboard and mouse which is pluged into one of the usb ports. Should dos support this? Please help, so near and yet so far, and damn frustrating!!!
    Many thanks.

Have you got a PS/2 keyboard? as that would prolly be simplier i would have thought that it would see it in DOS. Have you got USB keyboard turned on in the BIOS? else it wont..

Other alternative is to use Flashmenu in Windows.
Use default settings (no overclock) while using it & do the step-by-step rather than one-click.

    Any of the above, or,

make a file called "autoexec.bat" with one line in containing "runme.bat"

Boot from the floopy, and it will auto flash

no it wont, as you have to push Y for it to flash, just incase you pu the disk in by mistake
Theres a well hidden option in the bios for USB support for keyboards in dos, you need to set it to BIOS, instead of OS. It took me AGES to find this option, and for a while I had two keyboards pluged in!
