Microsoft Intellimouse Optical is dying. What new mouse?

    As thread title really.

I play a lot of FPSs and the cordless mice I've used in the past have been slightly laggy in games.

    ANy suggestions people?

Oh I didn't know that. I though it was only three years and I can't find the receipt. Reckon they'll need it? Got any contact numbers?

I have an mx700 and it does not lag at all in any games. The only things that lag in FPS games is my brain and reactions.
    Specs:

    Q6600 G0, Thermalright Ultra 120, ABIT IP35 PRO, 4GB Corsair DDR2, Trusty old Tagan 480u, BFG 8800 GTS 512, Samsung F1 750 GB.

    Nope

You just ring them, they ask for the serial number, and send you one out

    0870 60 10 100

    Ask for "microsoft direct services"

Well I've just given MS a ring and being the honest guy I am told them the exact model I had. I was kinda tempted to tell them I had the Bluetooth model but I don't think I would have gotten away with it!

Anyway they're sending me a out a replacement within the week!

I've got Agent to thank for suggesting it. I wouldn't have rang them if it weren't for him.

Well, I tend to use it most of the day then stick it in it's charger when I go to bed, and it's never run out of juice. If you're really hardcore it lasts about 3 days of constant use before the little red light lets you know it needs more power, but obviously it'll last longer if you don't use it as much
