    Antec P182 gold screws (studs)

How many of those are there meant to be? I can only see 3 in the bag of screws that came with it. That is half the amount I need to mount the motherboard :S

Mine were all in place when it arrived. I think you've got a dud unit. I'd have thought you can get some replacements fairly easily though; have a gander round the Antec forum on here.

Urgh. This is going to be a pain. Today's like the one day I can build this long overdue (1 years+!) PC in the coming months. I wonder if I can just do without those pieces.

Have you got spare ones from old PC builds?

Re: Antec P182 gold screws (studs)

Fraid not. I partly moved a few months ago, taking mainly my bare necessities (which meant that I only brought my laptop). I even had to borrow a screw driver for today. It's been so hectic in the last 15 months that I simply did not have aday I could sit down and build this desktop. Then I find that I am missing this and that (e.g. PSU did not come with power cable; and now this).

Re: Antec P182 gold screws (studs)

What's the difference between the golden studs and regular screws anyway? Is it a case of conductivity? I've been helping my flatmate with a new build, this time with a P183, and once again, it only seems to come with 3 studs in the bag.

According to the review of the P193 here (http://www.legitreviews.com/article/1261/3/) some are pre-installed. I am pretty sure they are nowhere to be found (will double check later, my flatmate overtightened the studs to make up for the lack of them and it's hard to take them out now).

Once, I can believe that it's a fluke, but now I am really wondering if we've just missed them.

Re: Antec P182 gold screws (studs)

they was pre installed on my 182 and a few came in the bag

you would wait for weeks for Antec to send them out (sorry antec but you guys too slow)
I would contact the retailer see if they can sort them out OR tell them to replace the whole case
    at there cost
