    I have a 850 watt PSU, only use about 400 watts of that , but went for a more powerful one because at the load I was going to put on it, it was silent operating.

    and I suppose your using a 8-pin cpu connector?

    Nope, I only use 4 pin and aux 4 pin in not used as I couldn't find an extension for it to reach the top of my case.

    Ahh by the look of it you have a full 18A for the CPU anyway, which I don't have as I only have 2 rails
