    Good gaming mouse mat?

Well I was hosting a lan yesturday and kinda got chocolate fudge brownie milkshake on my mouse mat!. Anyone care to recommend a good gaming mouse mat(low resistance) for £10-£15?(Must be a good sized area, not small). I currently had a cyber snipa "eye" microfibre mat which isnt useable lol.

edit: just been looking and is this http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/-/711/919...archtype=genre any good? Looking really for a very smooth non drag surface.

    Its personal preference.

Don't like Ratzpad personally, but love Icemats

    Re: Good gaming mouse mat?

Reading some reviews the razer exact mat is better than the icemat, cheaper to. Currently thinking about the exactmat or the cyber snipa Aluminium or the glass version of cyber snipa

Get out of this frame of mind - it simply isn't true.
Aesthetics are personal. I know some dam good gamers that play with a cloth mat, and wouldn't change.

There are only so many things you can 'measure' in a 'review' of a mouse mat, it's probably the least technical part of any set-up. It's entirely a personal thing.

Got a Razer eXactMat (or whatever it's called) and I love it. Been considering getting a cloth mat though.

Very true, i would think the icemat would be better but the thing is price and its about £25 for the SteelSeries Experience I-2 and the exact mat is £15. Is glass in general a good material then? Cause the cyber snipa one is £16 and uses acrylic glass and seems to be rated highly. Im just looking for the best around the £15 with low resistance really but the razer offers best of both and reliability.

    Re: Good gaming mouse mat?

i've been using a qpad for years, still in excellent condition and feels really good under. and its a decent size. about 4x bigger than the icemat i had! i did like the icemat though, but i found it wore out relatively quickly, as did the ratpad i had.

    Re: Good gaming mouse mat?

Lol. I dunno about the qpad, my mate has one and its not bad really but in about 2 weeks its already losing its colour and texture hence why im a bit reluctant to buy it and i also want to try something different.
I think ill go with the exact mat because i can use both sides etc.
