Well I just compared Seasonic and Silverpower 500W images on review sites and sure enough the SP SS 500W Silverpower had identical internal components and layout to the Seasonic 500W I compared it to at the time. Seasonic probably has some newer units but there was never anything wrong with their older units imo. The SS-500W has GPU 6 and 6+2 connections and was £45 so I bought one. Last time I looked they still sell them at this price. I'm going to keep buying Seasonic made PSUs with unfashionable stickers / branding because I trust them enough not to need the warranty by the likes of Corsair. Corsair are just re-branding Seasonics for over half there range.

Well, they do use the base platforms. but for most of the part, they do make their own modifications to Seasonics and CWTs platforms. So they will not be completely identical. But either way, you still get a good PSU.
