Look a decent build IMHO. You may also want to consider the Corsair HX450W which has a much longer 5 year warranty.

Id really wait just a couple more weeks.

ATi is bringing out the 5-series of cards soon, as well as Intel's i5's. So even if you dont buy any of the new stuff, it should at least lower the prices some on the stuff you do want. Mite even bring that 4870/4890 into your price range.

im thinking of getting the cooler master cm-690 its on offer at the momment at scan its a good alternative to the antec 300, better cooling from what ive read, got room for 7 120mm fans

Put the system together today and so far all good. Stress testing it now.
