At that end of the market it's going to be hard to compete with the big names. I'd look at what you can get from Dell and the like.

Take a look at Insight too (www.insight.com/uk). You can get an HP PC and monitor for that kind of money.
if your going to build it yourself probably best going AMD and getting a 785G motherboard with a Athlon X4 processor and stick 4GB of RAM in it. Then the case etc can be up to your own preference
