    Nvidia ION with Dual LAN

    Hi,

I'm going to build myself a Router/Media-Center box.
For that, I was going to use a Nvidia ION Dual Core Atom.
But what I need is a MB with Dual LAN.
All the boards I could find so far only have 1x LAN.
Anyone know if there is a ION Dual Core Atom with 2x LAN available?

    Thanks,
    derchris

I dont know of any myself. Your best bet would be to build the box and buy a PCI NIC to get the second LAN port.

From another angle, MSI make an ITX board for AMD chips with dual LAN, but its an R690 chipset which isnt great. If you stick a decent AMDx2 in though and the IGP wont matter for HD content. LinITX stock it

This Jetway 780G would be better though:

The Jetway JNC81-LF AM2+ AMD780G looks good, but requires a CPU + Heatsink.
And the Atom is more or less passive cooled.

True, but I seriously doubt you will find a Atom board with dual LAN. If I were you I would he looking an building an Atom ITX system, but buy a case that can accomodate an NIC and you're sorted.

Other than that its the above board with a 45w AMD and low profile cooler.
