Stock PSU was replaced with SilentX to cope with the load of the Radeon and the ICE fan replaced with an S3 NoiseBlocker.

CPU Guardian thingy only tends to kick in when I play intensive 3D games, so I'm not concerned about temperatures really - but the stock fan on the Radeon 9800 Pro is an annoying increase in noise after going to previous lengths to reduce the whine of the system.

What options, without attacking the case with a Dremmel, do I have for replacing the stock fan on the graphics card?
(I don't use the PCI slot, nor do I have plans to.)

    Either of these will do

    Loads.

It has 4 sets of different lenght clips so that it can fit on a wide range of cards

Open shuttle, take card out, pinch clips that hold stock card on and attach this one.

Theres a bit mre work then that but it's pritty much it.

o btw you might have to take the shim off the 9800pro dunno how you feel about that.

Does the shim need to come off of the 9800 or have you left in on?

I had to take the shim off cos the cooler was not making proper contact with the core.

    Marcos

Either stick the card in a plastic bag and shove it in the freezer for 30mins to help or in one corner on the outside of the shim theres a cut out.

Prise this up with a creditcard/screw driver bit at a time.

    PS

I am not liable if you mess summat up you do this at your own risk.

    Hi, hopefully my last question:

Which is better, the Iceberq 4 or the Titan cooler? Please could you just tell me which one is better so I can order? ( I do not mind about the LED as mine is a shuttle with no windows) thanks, Alex

Titan by far. The vantec is noise it's in the delta screamer class tbh.

I went for the vantec to start with cos of the blue led (i got the mesh side shuttle lid) but the noise drove me nutts so i got the titan cooler and am alot happier

First time I orderd from them they reckon it didnt go through right on their site and I had to reorder, that arrived few days later.

Second time it arrived a couple of days later.

Not the best email support ever, but they do get replies in the end.

I wouldnt re-order without them saying so, also have Paypal sent you an email receipt? As that would mean the order did go through.

Just keep trying to email, they may be having stock issues etc, maybe they have a number you can call?
