Looking for some speakers for the parents new uber setup, (SN41G2, 16MS 17" TFT ), Space is a concern so looking for some slim 2.0 speakers with fair bass reproduction without the use of a sub, suggestions?

Whats your price range, you could pick up some refurbed studio grade monitors which would give stunning quality although they'd set you back over £500 for a pair

After a quick look at a site I often get gear from they look pritty good and are only ~£80

Ahh - when you said good response I jump straight into proper hifi mode (well, I do anyways, can't stand tinny speakers, lol).

I would recommend JBL for that sort of thing.

If we're going basic I've put a couple of systems together using the Creative SBS250's. Not hifi quality obviously but they're very good for the money at about 12 quid. Possibly cheaper elsewhere than here.
