    120mm papst

Hi all, i've decided on a 120mm papst as the second fan in my sonata to try to reduce ambient case temps as summers coming and silence is a must i've heard this is silent at 7v, the only place i can find one is tekheads for about £20, is this a good price or is it expensive, any other retailers do this fan?

any idea on the noise level, some one here did kindly reply to a previous thread saying it was silent at 7v, anyone else have one (just want a second opinion)

i have one i run at 12v, it's not the quietest part in my system, nor the loudest (the hard disk does that)

Check this thread for quiet fan round up and if you are going to spend that sort of money you should consider silenx

I purchased the noiseblocker sx2 which was cheaper and does the job http://www.whispertec.com/Fan120.html

The SilenX fans are supposed to be very very quiet...personally I think £20 is expensive, so I grabbed a 22dBa Nexus orange thing from kustompcs - would certainly be silent at 7v, not sure about airflow though.
