The new Drobo FS will as it appears as a standard NAS would.

I don't know about the traditional Drobo though.

Re: Would a Drobo work with WD TV Live ?

No, the Drobo FS is the new NAS box, the others are DAS (Directly Attached Storage).

    http://www.drobo.com/products/index.php

A couple fo things to think about though:
Does the WD TV Live accept a standard USB drive being attached?
Deos the original Drobo act as a standard USB drive or does it need specific drivers?

If those are both true, then yes it should work. I think an email to either WD or Drobo is in order if you can't find any conclusive answers else where.

    £500 for the Drobo FS

Wonder if I could build a small PC box my self with a ITX motherboard with raid 5 for less than £500 ?
