The Asus 760G based motherboard should be fine but the 785G has a faster IGP and UVD2 which will make the HD4200 IGP on the 785G based motherboards better for decoding media files.

I would probably get the Asrock 785G motherboard over the Biostar one I mentioned.

However,Scan stock another Biostar 785G based motherboard:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Biost...-RAID-mATX-VGA

I prefer the Asrock 785G motherboard as it has faster dedicated RAM for the IGP but overall the motherboards seem similar.

However,if you get the Biostar motherboard on Scan this means you can get the whole order from Scan as the other parts are very competitively priced ATM.

The X2 240 is on Scan Today Only:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/TodayOnly/Index.aspx

Also a 2GB DIMM of Corsair 1333MHZ DDR3 RAM is cheaper on Scan than Ebuyer:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/2GB-C...d-CAS-9-9-9-24

You are also eligible for free postage from Scan too.

    Crap!!

I just realised that the motherboard on Scan is a DDR2 one!

My recommendation goes back to the Asrock motherboard on MD.

    This is definitely DDR3.

Because it uses both DDR2 and DDR3 is that ok? It is a good board. The price looks good. Better board than the one i picked?

The Asrock N68C-S or the Asrock motherboard M3A785GMH/128M?

The Asus motherboard is better than the first Asrock motherboard but not as good as the second Asrock motherboard.
