Re: Downsizing to a SFF case...

After a change of heart the final final spec will be:

    Case: NZXT Vulcan
Case fans: 2x 120mm NZXT Orange LED (top) / 1x 120mm Xilence Red Wing (front) / 1x 92mm Xilence Red Wing (rear) - all will be variable speed controlled

CPU: Q9300 2.5Ghz (which I should be able to clock to 3Ghz minimum, higher depending how far RAM will go)
CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 PWM
    RAM: 2Gb Kingston DDR2 PC6400
PSU: Enermax 600W (can't remember exact model)
    GPU: HD 4870 512Mb
MOBO: Gigabyte G31M-ESL2 (using the on-board Audio)
HDD: 2.5" 250Gb (with 3.5" to 2.5" adapter bracket) + 3.5" 80Gb Seagate (OS drive) - might image across to 2.5" and leave it out to save weight and extra cables)
Drive: Generic DVD/CDR (do you think it's worth installing this?!)

Having to buy the items in red which is totalling £251.70. Everything is ordered and bought, I will post pictures of the build once it's all underway!

Just to note this is now a combination of the media PC and new parts, as opposed to trying shove my main rig into a SFF case. I decided I like my Antec P182 and 4850x2 too much to compromise, and it also means I have a capable gaming system I can lug around with relative ease
