Black or silver monitors??

Why are there so little of these about?

There's black/silver everything else, but the most ugly part of a PC... The MONITOR, is still a horrible beige!!

Any decent black or silver 17 or 19" CRTs about?

I've got a Hyundai 19" flat-screen CRT, got through overclockers.co.uk Black and silver, does the job nicely.

Yeah. Beige monitors . My nice Iiyama TFT is beige as that was all i could get at the time although they do them in black and silver aswell.

Saying that i got it £90 cheaper than retail as B grade from Dabs.

why are you looking at the bezel?
should be looking at the screen

That is alot of extra cash for simply getting a coloured casing.

I have two beige CRTs - there not that bad. There both White beige rather than yellow beige

There's hardly any price difference between the black and silver, and the beige version.

I got 2 ugly as hell Beige CRTs, I'm contemplating either painting them or replacing them with Flat screens as they are the yellowy beige!
I know Dell make some alright ones, my m8 has got a pair of those and they have all black bezels but you have to look at the cursed Dell logo all day, easily scratches of though, leaving a lovely black, unbranded screen

TFTs or CRTs?

My mate has a 19" (Or is it 20"? Lol) Dell TFT and it's horrible. I played UT2003 for five minutes and had to turn it off. It was apalling.

my 21" sony trinitron is light grey. I guess thats a little better than beige. I think it was called "Silver", thought I dont think it looks silver.

I'm not too sure about Black anymore though... Could look a bit out of place..

CRT monitors are ugly no matter what colour they are. I guess the manufactuars don't think it's worth trying to "sex them up".

Yeah, they were the CRT's, they got like a 100 at our local LAN centre, they perform alright, but its also true, Dell's TFT are pretty appalling, Iiyama are the nicest TFT's IMHO at the moment, if you can afford them...
