Just updating with final details. Went for the Sempron 140 with the hope to unlock a core but have not got round to trying it as yet. Went for stock cpu cooler, but not impressed with the sound level so may swap it out for a passive (depending on sucess with the unlocking).

All thats left is hooking it up to my old crt tv, which is more difficult then I imagined, and software set up, which is also more time consuming then I thought it would be. I think the later has particular quirks based on the remote and software bundled with the case. Just got to find the time and paitence to do it. There is always something to be said for out of the box works
