Great point! Even if it's out of the guarantee, I'd still contact them. You never know, they might come up with some kind of offer.

They told me to jog on with my G11 last week. Not happy but I fixed it myself in the end.

That's a pain. I have found them to be quite good, personally. They gave me some help with a mouse a while ago that I'd bought from Hexus second-hand. They asked me when I'd bought it, to which the answer was "a month ago", and they asked me where I'd bought it, to which my answer was "the internet".

And that did the trick

Mine must be a good 3 years plus now, I doubt i would get a repair, the wear and tear is very apparent

Again not a cheap mouse but I have a lot of good things to say about my G700. Extra buttony goodness and wired/wireless as you please.
