The CX400W is a Seasonic unit and the CX430W is a CWT unit.

Anyway, the CX400W is still available from Novatech for around £35 delivered:

There is also the Novatech PowerStation 500W for around £40 delivered:

    http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/p...ov-psg500.html

    Supposedly,it is made by FSP:

OTH,it is hard to say who makes the PSU in reality.

IIRC,you can get cashback on Noavtech purchases from TopCashBack and Quidco.

I am not really in the know when it comes to PSU OEMS. I am assuming from the threads that Seasonic is the cream of the crop. I will dig around a little to find out differences between Seasonic, FSP and CWT as OEMS for the likes of Corsair and OCZ. However out of the three, who would you say are the most reliable?

    Re: PSUs which one?

It would appear Seasonic is a major OEM for many brands such as Antec and Corsair. In which case the whole thing sways it in favour of Corsair - I think Antec would go a lot over my budget. I found conflicting anecdotes about the CX430 though, one that it was a Seasonic branded as Corsair and the other that its made by CWT. I am not sure which to believe. I realise that having a high efficiency PSU will also reduce my power bills so spending £10 on a PSU could quite possibly save me more in the long run.
