It's a "sometimes only" feature, and it doesn't seem to be particularly consistent. The links styled in green are generated automatically by the software, which helps Hexus to make money and keep providing such a wonderful service

But it is a Hexus thing not a browser thing.

I don't think I've ever seen those on hexus.

Other sites over do them with every other word linked to some shop or other - but thankfully not hexus.
