    Planned usage?

not playing games? then a 785g motherboard, hard drive to your taste (Western Digital or Samsung are general recomendations) decent 400-450w psu, 120mm fan based tower cooler, sata DVDrw, case to taste, as much ram as you can afford.

The OP can get free postage from Scan:

    http://forums.hexus.net/scan-care-he...-delivery.html

I would get the following parts:

    Phenom II X6 1075T - around £152

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/amd-p...hz-125w-retail

    Gigabyte GA-880GA-UD3H - around £79

    http://www.scan.co.uk/TodayOnly/Index.aspx

This has USB3.0,SATA3.0 and the HD4250 IGP which can run one VGA monitor and one DVI monitor.

    Corsair Memory XMS3 8GB DDR3 PC3-10600 (1333) Dual Channel Desktop - around £112

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/8gb%2...connector-160v

    Samsung SH-S223C/BEBE - around £13

    http://www.scan.co.uk/TodayOnly/Index.aspx

NZXT BETA EVO - around £35

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/nzxt-...r-case-w-o-psu

    Corsair CX400W- around £33

    http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/p...U-400CXUK.html

You can get cashback from TopCashBack and Quidco on Novatech purchases.

The total comes to around £424 excluding any hard drives and a copy of Windows.

I would suggest getting a Samsung F3 1TB but I assume if you are doing HD video encoding you would be looking at some sort of RAID setup??

IIRC,with an HD4350 or HD5450 you can enable SurroundView which means you could run upto 4 monitors with the IGP.

Alternatively you could use a VGA-DVI converter for the IGP so you could connect one of your DVI monitors.

This graphics card does have a pair of DVI outputs:

It is on offer until tomorrow morning for £36:
