Lol not sunny here either atm. Me personally im an AMD man and always have been. Intel cpu's are faster than AMD so if you want the fastest at the moment then buy Intel. If your in no hurry you could wait to see what sandy bridge brings in January as the older chips and motherboards could drop in price but I wouldnt hold my breath there.

The graphics card war is hotting up as well with AMD/ATI high end cards due to be released soon so January might be a good time to buy with all this and the usual sales as well.

Also if you want a fast booting machine buying a 60 gig SSD like the OCZ vertex 2 for about £100 will make booting time a breeze and use the 1 TB drive for storage/games etc.
