    Aaah its fun! Just be sensible, check everything is unscrewed/unclipped then prise gently, if you're sure nothing is still clipped on then you can be a tad more forceful.

    I think the CPUs you're toying with are normal sockets so you can just pop them out once opened.

    hp, ive taken so many of the laptops apart...they seem to like the idea of placing the cpu faceup, its a pain as you have to nearly always pry the top control panel of first to get to the other two top layers which allow you to remove the board and replace the cpu...

    Good luck chap, its not as hard as you might think, just be carefull!

    Oh and no doubt you will forget to put a screw somewhere lol
