    Re: Review My First Build

How do I give you a "thank" Cat? I feel you really deserve it!

Can't wait to get the system you designed for me...I'd be getting a (much) lesser system if it wasn't for you, and would have been paying more for it too! So, thanks again. (Hopefully I can get it to work fine. That's the worrying part now )

The motherboard is on special offer so might end up selling out soon. I think you need a few more posts to add thanks!!

    Re: Review My First Build

My components have all arrived and I've build the tower. However...I've run into a problem.

How do I connect my tower to my tv/monitor? -.-

This sounds like a stupid question, but all I can see are audio and usb ports.

*EDIT* After looking into it...this mobo doesn't support onboard graphics... ;(
Guess I shall wait until my 560Ti comes then...ah well.

The P67 does not support monitor outputs. What did you get in the end??

    Re: Review My First Build

Hey, I went for your build, with the i5 2500k Sandybridge processor, along with a 560Ti SOC GTX. Just waiting on the 560Ti to arrive later today, then I can test out my new system. Due to there not being any onboard graphics support, I haven't had a chance to test it out yet, although I've powered it on and the fans etc seem to be working fine. Fingers crossed my 560Ti works!

I'll let you know how it performs, once I get everything set up later today.

    Re: Review My First Build

Graphics card has arrived and is installed, along with all the drivers. Posting this from my new pc! Windows gave it a rating of 7.5/7.9, which I'm happy about too.

One small thing though. I can only get sound through my headphones, not through my tv's built-in speakers. I'm using an hdmi -> mini-hdmi connection with my tv -> tower, if that makes any difference.

Thanks again for the build...now I just need something demanding to test it out!
