New System Help

Sorry didnt make that too clear. The standard system comes with
nVidia FX5500 128mb, but it has been said this isnt much cop???
The nVidia GForceFX5900XT upgrade is £73
The ATI Radeon 9800pro upgrade is £96, so only £23 more.

As the system is not being used for much gaming would the FX5500 be adequate or is it really best avoided, bearing in mind at present I have Nvidia GFoce 2 integrated :-(

Well the FX5500 is..... Well I shure would'nt want it! Take the ATI! What games do you want to play? the Nvidia isnt that good

Probably not too many games at all really. just dont want in 4 months time to be wishing I had bought better graphics. Just trying to get the most for my money in one go so I have a system that will keep me happy for years to come. So if I ago for the ATI 9800 pro then which mobo?? The ASROCK would keep me under the £600 pound mark, the ASUS just £15 over or the Abit K8v which would put me £50 over...is it worth the cash??
