    ah, the 7aja. i remember it well. was a really nice board for the money.

    some of the information here is conflicting - you can't just partiton as two 80gb drives - fdisk will see 127gb maximum. if there's no 48bit LBA bios update, then you could TRY pissing about with drive manufacturer's software - but i've never had any luck with this.

    Dont bother with the manufactorers software its usually pretty pants, and slows the disk right down. Just get a cheap cheap raid card, (20) and that'll do the job fine.

    might i recommend steering clear of the sii 0680a-based cards? had bad experiences with them

    Certain if you ask me - my KT133a based mobo supported my 60GB drive, which is beyond the 40GB barrier.

    Probably 132 Gig as the 7AJA probably didnt get its BIOS updated with 48bit addressing.

    I used to run a 120GB drive in a Chaintech 7KJD fine (which is very similar).
