TFTs suck unless they're <16ms.

I've used a really nice Dell 19" (I think it was) TFT with 25MS response time and it was absolutely dire for games. I actually found it UNCOMFORTABLE, not just annoying, to play UT2003. It was a similar effect to being in a fast moving car watching the surroundings swish past you at 70MPH along the M25.
