    Shuttle SN45G Silent X

Is there any reason NOT to get one ?

Looks like im going to have to buy a shuttle new (cant fine decently priced ones anywhere), and being new to them, dont want to splash out the already little cash i have to bump into problems !

    Cheers

You get the nice 250w psu that is supposed to be quieter. Mine is sat here waiting to be installed so cannot realyy confirm. However the extra 50w won't do any harm.

I have the Silent X 250w PSU, the extra wattage is nice now that i have a 6800GT inbound. But as for Silent, theres not really much in it with the older 200w PSU, but it certainly runs cooler under load meaning less stress on the PSU and its close neighbours.

The 250w psu is quieter and cooler than the 200w version, you also get a SATA connection which is not present on the 200w version.

    Get the SilentX version
