    USB2.0 not working.

I just recieved my Muvo2 4GB this morning, and very nice it is too.

However, when I hook it up to my PC, the little tray icon appears telling me that I do not have a hi-speed USB controller.

My mobo is in the sig and I am running WinXP pro, with SP1. I have done all the windows updates and installed nForce UDP 4.27.

And still it tells me that I have a (non hi speed) USB hub.

    Anyone got any tips?

I am off today and tomorrow, so if it means reinstalling windows, then fair dos....

Tell me what it says in Device Manager under 'Universal Serial Bus Contollers'.

lol I love the easy ones . Right click the unknown Universal Serial bus Contoller and click properties. Click update driver or install driver (its on one of the tabs somewhere). It will then install the highspeed (Enhanced USB) host controller. Easy Hope it works!

If that dont work, make sure you have it enabled in the BIOS (will be USB1.1+2.0)

I had the same issue @ weekend when I connected my MSI starhub to my PC and then plugged my DSC-T1 into the Hub.

Damn windows - I thought it was supposed to go to MS and check for driver updates when installing stuff ?

Yep can do, but I very much doubt the unknown EHCI host controller would appear in the device manager if in the BIOS was set at USB1.1 only, infact, I know it wouldn't.

That screen grab only shows a "standard USB controller". No mention of EHCI in device manager as far as i can see....
