About to replace my Heatsink, I have Arctic Silver 5, I have Arctic Ceramique..but which one to use?
I cba to decide, so I throw it open to you my friends...
Arctic Silver 5
Arctic Ceramique
Other - Please specify & give reasoning pls
I think Ceramique is the don at the moment mate
I always use AS5, works for me.
Using AS5, a Zalman HSF and air-cooling, my A64 3500+ is running at 35C during normal windows usage, so I'm happy enough with it![]()
Iirc ceramique performs slightly lower than AS5 but its safer to use since it does not conduct electricity. I use a massive tube of industrial thermal paste. Always have. Have had it for about a year now and have only used half a syringe![]()
I still got some AS3, works fine for me![]()
AS5, I removed my stock HS, but I put it back on after I got my new mobo. I simply aplied som AS5 ontop of that old grey intel crap and it worked fine!I know I should have cleaned it first but I was too lazy! lol
You know that doesn't help with overclockingBtw i've helped you with your sig
