Been mucking about with the Nvidia drivers on my NF7S and all of a sudden my optical drives and my HDD are listed as SCSI. The HDD still works but the others don't. When I install the nvidia drivers the whole system crashes unless i uninstall the CD/DVD drives. Any help would be appreciated. Next time I'm leaving well enough alone.
It's a porblem with the nVidia IDE Drivers, I had this with my Epox 8RDA+.
All you need to do is uninstall the nVidia IDE drivers from control panel and reinstall the default windows IDE drivers (will be done automatically).
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.
I've tried that but they're still listed as SCSI in device manager and they're not installing the default drivers for some reason. Had thought of putting my XP cd in but the drive can't read it to do this
