Debating whether or not the steel series 4hd would be worth it over the Sphrex.

I think the idea of just making the surface of my desk smoother sounds good, so I'll probably be picking up a Sphrex unless anyone recommends anything else. elsd

I've been told that the 4hd might be better than the sphex? I know one of the points against it was that theirs lost its stickiness but I don't think I'd move it much anyway....

If you're looking to get a cloth mat then I'd fully recommend the Puretrak Talent.

High quality, nice and thick, easily my favourite soft mat I've used.

For a hard mat, I'd try to go aluminium, since they feel lovely, as long as you have the right type of feet which don't die. Also if you don't need one that big, since you can't get them

Anything else on sphex vs 4HD? Still not sure which to get... Might have to get both and send back the one I don't like. Good idea?

If you think you can get away with returning a used product.

You can usually refresh a sticky surface by rinsing it and drying it.

    Flip a coin!

It's not like mouse mats are pricey, nor is there going to be a huge difference between them.

You won't believe how many times I'm told to flip a coin for an answer
