I Usually keep the box. Except the monitor box.
I generally keep all the boxes for whatever I have installed in my PC at the time. When I replace something and sell the older part on a well known auction site, I think that it makes it a little more attractive to buyers if the original packagin is still with it.
I think it's especially important for graphics cards as the packaging does a lot to protect the card and as expensive as they are, having one get damaged in transit is a loss all round.
I think graphics card is probably the most upgraded component, I've always kept the box for them. Same applies to motherboard & PSU(have modular cables etc in box). Not sure whether still have box for case I remember stuck an old case in there but got rid of that so maybe along with the box Then there's another box with more boxes inside and other boxes around. Boxes everywhere! boxes ftw? Anyone tired of the word box yet? Have you been boxed in by the boxes consisting of more than one box?
I keep all the big boxes in the attic and a cupboard under the stairs. Small boxes such as cpu go in a drawer with spare wires etc.
I keep all boxes for all items:
For computer components until I sell them on or chuck them out...anything else is kept until the warranty has ended in case of return.
In fact I have a huge box marked "BOXES" that I keep all the other boxes in.
Of course I'm perfect you just need to lower your expectations.
Possibly but in my defence I have moved house a lot of times and I find that stuff moves more safely in it's own packaging.
Also I once had a warranty claim on a printer refused because I didn't have ALL the original packaging as specified in the small print so I even keep the twist ties and plastic bags.
I'm not OCD it's just that a lot of people in retail land are utter [*descriptive sweary word here*].
Of course I'm perfect you just need to lower your expectations.
i keep boxes for every piece of major tech i own. Other than usefulness for RMA, i just like reading the cases and looking at the awesome designs of the boxes every now and then
I like to see how awesome the product packaging was... Before I send them for RMA

I keep all the boxes, but its a bit pointless as every now and again I go in the loft and find boxes from things I've sold or thrown away years ago...
Don't ... throw... away... the... boxes...
I think I've thrown away only some of the physically smaller stuff's boxes - SSDs, Mouse, KB. Everything else is kept... It is useful one come flat change time.

I always keep the boxes very useful for RMA or if you ever sell it I also end up using it for other components I don't use anymore even if I didn't have the item anymore I'd still keep the box just incase lol.
I usually keep the boxes for most things, I've got a whole pile of boxes in the attic
I usually put all of the smaller boxes in the monitor box.
I always keep the box. Full Stop.
