    Whats required?

I would like to build (well, put together ) a sff box. Being a relativly bright novice, what recommendations can you give me on the components. I.E. I require no outstanding graphics, no overclocking facillities, I do need a dvd writer, a card reader, and lan connectors, usb, firewire etc. It must look good, and be smallish and quiet.
Aside from the keyboard, monitor, mouse. What is required on the shopping list, and what can you recommend.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts

    Processor,
    Memory,
    HDD,
    DVD rewriter etc as above,
    OS!

Most of the connections are available in the SFF box itself. What are you going to be using it to do?

Mainly as a lounge web surfer.
What I really need to know is what brand/s have caught your imagination as `good buy`. I, like everyone, want best bang for my Pound.

The Ideq 210v paired with a athalon XP chip is a good buy. Cheap and well built. Also has built in graphics. Try www.aria.co.uk.
