Overclocking to 200FSB, Ram passes memtest but not prime.

Just experimenting with my Crucial PC2700 ram on an Abit NF7-S v2. At 200FSB (11-3-3-3) the memory passes memtest for hours without errors but fails prime Torture Test within a few minutes.
Also 3DMark2001 and Sisoft Sandra's memory bechmark run without errors as well. I don't want to upgrade to PC3200 ram if there is something else holding me back.

I'm running the AMD XP 2500+ Mobile at 11x200 (less than I've had it stable) so the memory is only tested.

I'm using the Abit 25 bios. I wouldn't have thought that I needed to do the L12 mod to run at 200FSB

Are you using the setting in prime to test memory or the one that tests the CPU?

Thanks for all the quick replies.

I have done 3 loops of 3DMark2001, I'll try for longer.
CPU is running at 1.75v which is normally stable at 2300MHz.
Not sure where the memory bechmark is in Prime. I'm using version 22.12 and just run with the primary test and torture tests.

Try upgrading to the latest version

There have at times been bugs in Prime (last one I can remember gave false failures on some P4 chips)

Thanks, I updated to the lastest version. Ran the Blend torture test (tests lots of ram) for 30mins with no problems. Will test for longer now.
