I suppose there isn't a law in Canada for a 7 or 14-day cooling off period? I know you can return stuff in the UK by law if you bought it off the internet.
As for the fingerprint issue, I think that could just be an excuse for 15% restocking fee because the box has been opened. Even if the product is in pristine condition (which it could be if only the fingerprint were wiped off!), once the box has been opened, you can't say it's "new" and "sealed".
