Wow I remember seeing these back in school, loved playing that Egyptian game, Arcadventure I think it was called
In a way it's a shame it's one of the old black&green monitors, the beeb could do 8 colours in mode 2 (they claim 16 but it's 8 and 8 alternating flashing colours), although the resolution was terrible a 160 × 256 but most games where made in it.
Elite was first developed for and on the bbc b, they did something amazing they broke the screen into two regions, the bottom control panel in mode1 4 colour and the main view in mode0 2 colour for the higher resolution.
Other great games, chucky egg, strykers run, grannies garden, castle quest, repton, citadel, Imogen
We had so many when I was a kid and they where all on 5.25" floppies, we never had a tape drive connected into our beeb.
You used to be able to get 5.25" floppy drives for pc's, they where standardly assigned to A: while 3.5" floppies where assigned to B:
Unfortunately the floppy connector has gone from most motherboards now, you might be able to get a usb one.

We did plug it into a TV when we needed the full colour - there was a snooker game that was an absolute nightmare to play in black and green. It is a very long time since I've had a machine with a floppy drive of any kind... the idea of running one of those disks off my current machine is crazy.
Tbh I do like the idea of mucking around with it, but just don't have the space so it's going to have to go somewhere, at some point.
