Building a new system for a mate using the following components.

SN41G2 V2 with bios version FN41S10M (compatible with Sempron)
512MB RAM
80GB Seagate HD
NEC 3500 DVD-RW
Using on-board gfx

When I was building I did a quick test using just the CPU and mem installed and it POSTED fine. Connected everything else but it wouldn't post. So disconnected everything down to bare min (cpu, mem) and it wouldn't post.

Re-set the CMOS and it posted, after changing settings in the BIOS (Date & time) it wouldn't post, just the TFT power screen in standby.

Re-set the CMOS and it posted, but won't post after doing a re-start. Which is the main problem. The system won't post after doing a re-start. Any ideas?

Also noticed you can't flash the BIOS from DOS on these, why?
