I bought an R9 290 off Gumtree and when I installed it yesterday, I encountered some driver issues. At first, it would black screen and freeze when installing the Catalyst installer, but I managed to sort that out. Then it started black screening when Windows was starting up, so I decided to install Windows 7 (Home Premium 64-bit) on another drive to see if the problem still occurred, and it did. If I remove all the drivers in safe mode using Display Driver Uninstaller, then it boots up just fine. However, I don't seem to be able to access safe mode on Windows 7 as it just restarts the computer when I try, so I have to fresh install after every attempt at installing drivers.
I've tried 15.7.1 and 15.10 beta on both Windows 10 and 7.
