    Silly question about a soundblaster!

    Hi,

I have a soundblaster sound card. I am taking some footage off my old Hi-8 camcorder. Can I plug the adapter into the same slot as the mic i use for msn?
I know it is daft but there are quite a few slots on it (including firewire) and the computer is really awkward to move to see what is what!

    Thanks for looking!

Probably it's a line level audio output from the camcorder - so you're best off using the line in port instead, normally next to it
Now go away before I taunt you a second time.
