Want to build a shuttle..Help?

Hey

Right i want to build a shuttle over the next couple of months buying each part as i can afford them. I have a GFX card just need everything else. It will be mainly for burning and downloading and will be adding a TV card. I was thinking of AMD64 system but don’t know what i should do for case etc.

I have been looking at maybe this as my starting point?

But what components would you recommend to accompany it?

well i wouldnt buy anyting from there search lots of forums you will see why,
as reagrds bits
then pioneer 108 dvd rw or nec3510
cpu winchester 3200
ram 1 gig ocz or corsair ram take your choice of samsung tccd chips really
hd wd250gig give you lots of storage
tv card win nova tv or pvr350
its not going to be top flight but will do the job your looking for at a reasonable price

First off, you might want to reassess your choice of sockets, for any future upgradability, 939 is the way to go. Yes, its also more expensive. You get what you pay for.

For drives, take a look at Samsung, especially if you are into SATA.

RAM, Corsair.

Optical, well, there's a huge selection. I like Plextor, the hardware is industry standard and the software is the best.

Don't know much about TV cards.
