    SATA RAID driver question

    I've set my two SATA Raptors to run in 'IDE' mode in the BIOS. They appear as normal IDE drives to XP and everything is fine. However, do I need to install the VIA SATA RAID drivers in XP (even though i'm not using the drives in a RAID array)?
