Do ATI GPU's work with SLI Mobo's? Im Dumb!

I have bought an sli mobo and am thinkin of ordering my new graphics card i got the sli board cheap which is why i got it not so i could run 2 gpu's (i cant afford that) will an PCIe x800 xl work on an SLI board?

a single ati card would work as normal yeah

Yeah it will work on the board as a single GPU but not in SLI mode .

You can use 2 - but not in SLI mode... as far as i know...
