do you already OWN that cpu?
DFI Lanparty UT NF3 250?
i have this mobo and its a stormer. Alternatively get the chaintech id say, i dislike gigabyte immensely, myself, but its personal preference i presume.
As my siggy says go for the Asus K8N-E Deluxe
Vimeous : i7 7700K | 16Gb | ASUS Strix Z270G | GTX1080 | 960 EVO 500GB NVMe | 850 EVO 500GB | TX650W | NZXT S340 Elite | Dell U2713H + 17" | 10 Pro

dfi is too expensive.
Expensive?! Quality comes with a cost, rite?!
- DFI LanParty UT 250Gb, Oscar Wu's 10/15 bios
- AMD64 "NewCastle" 3000+ @ 2550Mhz (10x255) @ 1.595 vcore
- Sapphire 9800Pro->*Flash*->9800XT @ 459/380
- 2x512MB Crucial Ballistix PC4000, 1:1 @ 2.7v, 2.5-3-3-10
- 2x Seagate 7200.7 SATA 80GB, RAID 0, Ports 3/4
- Coolermaster ATC-210-VX
- Antec TrueBlue 480W
- Koolance Exos-Al, Zalman ZM-WB2 CPU block, Koolance GPU-180-L06 for GPU and chipset
- Toshiba DVD-Rom, Lite-On SOHW-1653S DVD-writer
- Microsoft Windows Pro SP2
Greetz,
Chimpie
well yes but the best things in world are FREE!Expensive?! Quality comes with a cost, rite?!
Looks like i will be going with kv8 pro.
and yes i allready own that cpu
Personally I'd go for ASUS boards, but out of those the Abit deff.
G4 PowerMac - Tiger 10.4 - 512MB RAM
MacBook - 2Ghz - 1GB RAM - 120GB HDD
Rotel RC970BX | DBX DriveRack |2x Rotel RB850
B&W DM640i | Velodyne 1512
worth considering the ABIT NF8 too.
Yes i was looking at that too. Are they any good?
Am I right that the DFI cost around 66 quids, which is just the same as Gigabyte. And u can't justify 10 more quids over Abit and Chaintech for a damn good mobo ??? (i have it)
where can you get the dfi for 66???
I'd go for the DFI, available for around £66 here http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal...ocket_754.html
but inc del that would be 75,
and the kv8 is 61 (scan=del free)
thats the question you need to ask, there is no denying that the DFI is the best S754 mobo, and for 10/15quid more its not worth stuggling with an inferior motherboard.Originally Posted by Hans Voralberg
all in my opinion of course, even if it means a diet of purely rice for a month the DFI is worth it.
