It is not worth anything over your card. 8x gives minimal performance increase if any, you can overclock your card to 8x AGP bus anyway....
Not worth £20 extra tbh.

how can i overclock it? i put the clock speeds up, and there is little or no effect :S
In the BIOS find the AGP frequency and raise that to 80, i think that is what 8x is....as for overclocking your card - download rivatuner. TI4200's overclock expectionally well. Normally 300mhz-ish on the core, and from 550 - 650 on the RAM.

Where the hell did you find that out from cos that is complete bull!Originally Posted by blockers
AGP 8x looks like this
it is backwards compatiable with AGP4x.
AGP2x = 3.3v slot
AGP4x = 1.5v slot
AGP8x = 0.8v
The AGP frequency has nought to do with the AGP speed.

Oh, sorry....i was just under the impression that raising the frequency to 80 was 8x AGP...sorry....
