edit/ if i could get a good cheapish silent blue cold cathode from the same place that would be great too! but dunno which cold cathodes are very quiet and reasonably bright!

I bought the PQI USB 2.0 256MB travelling disk from EBuyer and its fantastic. £45, though - so a bit over your budget but worth every penny if you can stretch to it.

Otherwise, EBuyer also do a 128MB version for £21.99, but its USB 1.1.
